  1. This is the base files package for TNOS Release 2.30 for DOS. It
  2. includes an executable with most ALL features compiled in.
  3. It has a built-in DPMI-compatible memory manager which does not support
  4. virtual memory, but will allow usage of all memory in your system. If
  5. you have another DPMI memory manager already installed, the one built into
  6. the executable will disable itself, and use the installed DPMI manager.
  7. This allows you to use (for example) QEMM and utilize virtual memory, if
  8. desired.

  10. You need the source tree package to compile your own TNOS.

  12. TNOS/DOS *NOT LONGER* support Borland C compilers, but instead uses the
  13. DJGPP compilers. See the file 'djgpp.txt' in the doc directory for info.

  15. file 'mirrors.dj' in the doc directory

  17. This zip should contain all other files needed to start up with TNOS 2.30.
